STUFFED TOYS
Stuffed toys I have gathered one by one,
Just a few at the top of the bed was fun,
But it seems they have babies, more come,
I like to show them off so what can be done?
Now there are two on each step on the stairs,
Quite a conversation piece as everyone stares
At my cuddly toys adorning the stairs they see,
On the next visit they’ll be changed completely.
Every time I vacuum the toys get moved about,
Thrown out of the way, they don’t yell or shout,
But I wonder if they wait to see who will share
The step with them, I wonder if they really care,
I try not to put two mice on the same stair,
This is quite hard for there are so many there.
A bunny, a teddy, a camel, then a mouse or two,
It is great fun arranging them in positions new.
Well I’m off to clean down the stairs come and see,
Come and help clean, join in the excitement with me,
Will furry bunny like to sit with Jimmy mouse,
Or will there be some commotion is our quiet home?
I like to do it when I have lots of time to spare,
So after cleaning I can sit together the right pair,
Maybe I am a little crazy, I can agree with that,
This time I won’t put the big mouse with the little cat!
