ALWAYS LEARNING
I always asked questions when I was small,
Wanted to how things worked, every birds call,
I can remember driving all my family wild,
For I wanted to learn a lot when I was a child.
An inquiring mind can be a very useful thing,
As much wisdom and knowledge it can bring,
I hope I never stop learning, finding things new,
Be teachable, understand others point of view.
Id love to read a book, always had a few around,
In summer holidays under a tree I would be found,
Nose in a book to wander off to far away places,
To visit folks I did not know with different faces,.
I would wander through the fields finding flowers,
Id climb trees finding birds in green leafy bowers,
Wade in a lake where the wax water lilies grew
Found pretty coloured snails knew to very few.
I still want to be teachable, still want to learn,
Still have an inquiring mind for knowledge yearn,
I seek for more understanding, seek righteousness,
Seek Gods will for me and to Him my joy express.
I hope that we can learn when we reach heaven above,
Be taught by heavenly beings taught in truth and love,
Maybe taught by the Master bask is His pure light,
To never stop learning would fill me with delight.
