        FACTS OF NATURE
I was reading in a nature book just the other day
And I’ve come to the conclusion life is this way,
The lion and the tiger, fast cheetah and other cats too
Don’t eat grass and vegies but on only meat do chew.

These beasts are sleek and slender no extra fat is seen,
Full of energy, but what has their stable diet been?
No healthy lettuce leaf do they seem to nipple at,
But just eat juicy meat and they even eat all the fat.

Now take the large hippopotamus and big rhinoceros
All they seem to eat all day is flowers, fruit and grass,
And don’t forget the elephant he eats no meat at all,
Yet all these animals seems fat as well as big and tall.

Now health nuts say if we wish to look slim and trim,
It is eating fruits and salads, of meat their view is dim,
But surely Mother Nature knows what she is doing,
The meat eaters are slim, grass eaters, fat showing.

I am sure there is a simple explanation why loins are thin
And the poor old hippopotamus hardly fits into his skin,
But I like a variety of food that I like to eat every day,
I hope I look more like a lion than the fat guy and thin stay.
