BEING MOLLY CODDLED
The instinct in most women when someone is ill,
Is to Molly-coddle the person, maybe against their will,
Would you like a blanket, have a nice warm drink,
Lie down, take it easy and youll feel better in a wink.
Why not relax and enjoy the fuss if you feel down,
Let someone spoil you, turn away that grouchy frown,
A little Molly-coddle will make you feel quite grand,
And it allows someone you love to lend a helping hand.
Be tucked up in a blanket all warm by the nice fire,
Or lie down in bed cozy if you are feeling sick and dire,
Go on enjoy, being Molly-coddled for a little while,
And watch the one you love, see her face wear a smile.
I love to Molly-coddle, I love to fuss and take care
Of those who feel ill and bring some comfort there,
Then when I am sick Id like someone to Molly-coddle me,
Then the blessings will return about just you wait and see.
