FATHER, DOG OR TRAIN
Okay blank screen what is hidden in there?
What words of wisdom have you to share?
Are we going to hear some tale of long ago,
That will inspire us as through this life we go?
Ill tell you a story of a father and his little boy,
A rather quiet child and his fathers pride and joy,
After work and school much time together spent,
In fact they seemed inseparable wherever they went.
No, not that one, maybe one about a hungry dog,
Who was quite lost and homeless in a murky fog,
His tired paws sore from walking far and wide,
With big brown eyes, his sadness he could not hide.
Or what about the ghost train , with whistle calling
As it drives along a stretch of rail early every morning,
And anyone who sees it will die before the year is out,
That one feeds your imagination without a doubt.
But just no ideas have come, oh, the page is full,
I hope this little poem is not at all too dull,
Ill come back in a moment to another blank screen
And see what other different ideas can there be seen.
