SOUL SOOTHING MUSIC
Sometimes you hurt deep inside,
Pain that you cannot always hide,
Sadness creeps into a happy heart,
And of sorrow you become a part.

Music can sooth a hurting soul,
It’s the pathway to becoming whole,
Sweet healing music playing gently
Can fill a heart that feels so empty.

Just listen to those notes carry away
Sadness and sorrow, peace come to stay
In that troubled heart that can rejoice
With the music, joy now your choice.

King Saul found solace in music sweet,
Good music prepares us for God to meet,
Listen when you are feeling down or low
Or when filled with the warm spirits glow.

Listen, heal from good music’s sound,
That way over you Satan’s power is bound,
For God’s love flows freely in His music clear,
You can rejoice for He will always be near.
