FALLING INTO PLACE
Things are getting together, everything falling into place,
We are going around on cloud nine, a smile upon our face,
For soon we will depart to fulfill our mission call to serve
The Lord up north, I hope we have the strength and nerve.

The packing has been started and other things put away,
We have been jabbed to be protected many times today,
Finances all sorted out, part of the family to live in the home,
Warm clothes sorted or bought as up north we’ll have to roam.

On Sunday, in sacrament we’ll have to give a farewell talk.
Then we will be set apart, then when from the office we walk
We will be starting on our mission, spreading God’s holy word,
We’ll carry some pamphlets so while travelling His voice is heard.

Now we are off to the temple maybe to do our very last shift
Before our adventure begins, for we will need t hat extra lift
That the temple brings to all who enter to serve the Lord,
I know He will give us guidance as we follow His word.

Each of our hearts beats faster. We are almost ready to go,
But we will miss family and friends and the temple so,
I know the Lord will bless us as this great promise we keep
To serve Him each and every day with a love that is very deep
