EVERYONE HAS A HEART
Everyone has a heart we need it to stay alive,
Without one, no one could never ever survive,
This is a fact of life that everyone knows,
But is that heart one that with love flows?
Oh, it keeps beating, sometimes fast, then slow,
It works much better if you exercise you know,
Does my heart thrive? Know how to really feel,
Or is it just an organ, feelings made out of steel.
Is my heart a tender heart, a heart full of care,
A heart that thinks of others a heart that is aware,
A heart that is willing, if tired, go the extra mile,
A heart that even when breaking can wear a smile.
Or do I have a heart of stone, hard and cold as a rock,
No feelings, no cruel or vicious action ever cause shock,
Just care for myself, for others never have a single thought,
For thirty pieces of silver, can our integrity can be bought?
Oh, heart please be tender, full of Gods love divine,
Beat in my breast with caring, please heart of mine,
I do not mind if tears I shed when sorrow or pain I see,
Please heart of mine be good, full of caring felicity.
