LOST
Lost! Maybe in the temple, a pretty diamond ring,
It bounced somewhere! What a strange thing.
Everyone searched everywhere, where can it be?
It is quite a strange mystery, why can’t we see
It in the locker room where it just went astray?
Peeping with bright flash lights and poking away
In corner of lockers until we were worn out.
Here comes the president he’ll find it no doubt.
But no, it remains hidden, where else can we look?
Maybe it was kicked far by some silly fluke!
It’s not in any locker, nowhere on the floor,
It’s not stuck in the lock or wedged in the door.
Not hiding in a corner not lodged in a skirting board,
In fact the whole occurrence has everyone flawed.
We have searched for a sparkle from the diamonds bright,
But so far there is nothing seen shiny at all in sight,
We need a mini miracle so the ring will show its face,
Or a phone call telling us the ring fell safe in a strange place!
