CINQUIN SET 3
The tick
of the old clock
a comforting sweet sound
lulling me to sleep with the soft
tick- tock.
Temples,
holy places
scattered over the earth
where inside salvation is earned.
His home.
Beauty
of the sunrise,
multicoloured bright sky
waking the world to a new day
in grace.
Sorrow
deep and painful
shared with a friend or two
eases the hurt, soothes the heart from
more pain.
