CINQUIN SET 2
Darkness
covered the earth
like a thick velvet cloak,
no light from stars or moon, total
blackness.
Happy
children dancing
in the warm summer sun
the breeze singing the melody
with joy.
Ready!
All is prepared,
the car wont start at all,
the children climb out sad, not going
anywhere.
Sunshine
glistens softly
on the lake now bright gold
touched with the suns ethereal
last rays.
