ON WINGS OF LIGHTENING.
Id love to have wings of lightening,
sail high into the night sky,
Not encased in a large space ship,
but by my own power fly.
Fly through outer space silently,
See the planets one by one.
As I sail on wings of lightening
till my journeys done.
I want to walk on the planet Mars,
watch the moons revolve,
Look into caves, climb the hills,
many a mystery solve,
Marvel at the view that I see,
hope that no others come.
As I sail on wings of lightening
till my journey is done.
One by one I want to visit them,
pass through Saturns rings,
Look into the strange red spot
that the sight of Jupiter brings,
Imagine all the freedom flying high,
Just imagine all that fun.
As I sail on wings of lightening
till my journey is done.
But oh, to reach lonely Pluto
and then see what is beyond,
Myriads of stars before me
just waiting to be found,
How many others just like me seen,
many new friendship won.
As I sail on wings of lightening
till my journey is done
