THE PATIENCE OF JAMES.

Patience and endurance are virtues so strong,
Owned by you James, our dear old friend,
For you have stayed close to the truth all along,
Not faltered or failed, but endured to the end.

Our thoughts are with you, and we pray every day,
That the blessings you long for with a broken heart,
Will be restored so you may travel along your way
To a throne in the heavens as you do your part.

And now that those blessings have been restored
Oh, how the tears of joy that will constantly flow,
Now you have reaped the blessing that the Lord afford
To those who wait and true humility always show.

Thank-you for being a constant friend and we can now share
The joy you feel at the moment, your heart’s gladness.
How the burdens must have rolled far away and all care
Gone, for now there is nothing to stop you, as on you progress.
