WHAT A LOVELY DAY

What a lovely day, look at that blue sky,
See those fluffy white clouds float slowly by,
The trees leaves look more vivid and bright
As the autumn sun fills the world with light.

Did you see the cobwebs covered in dew?
Just a hint of frost that is warning you
That the cold of winter is not far away,
Bringing her own beauty soon your way.

But just for now gaze at the fall scenes,
With it’s red, gold, browns and greens,
Even through your window you can see
Autumn in all it’s magnificent beauty.

Do not waste a day when the sun is bright,
Rap up warm and see each pretty sight.
Wander down a little lane or by the lake,
May be as the sun comes alive at day break.

Of all the times of year I love fall the best,
Although there is beauty in all the rest
Of the year, nothing is quite as sweet
As the colours of fall that you meet.
