TREASURED MEMORIES
Fleecy white clouds on a sea of blue,
A ceiling of beauty for all to view,
Sweet smelling flowers in gay array,
Tall lofty trees in the breeze gently sway.
A song bird sings a choice melody
On a high branch up in some tree.
The laughter of children as they play,
Food on the table at the end of the day.
These blessing are simple, yet bring great joy,
So we should not worry bout things that annoy,
But treasure in our hearts, and in our mind,
Things that bring joy, words that are kind.
Gather them up in memories sweet,
Save them for a time you need a treat,
Then rejoice in the thoughts that flow
From treasures remembered from long ago.
