DAY AND NIGHT |
Some love to see the sunrise and so hope renew
With the pleasant rays of sunshine, warm and bright.
Friends and people to meet, and lots of things to do
Before the predicted hour for the return of night.
Yet others prefer the night with moons gentle ray.
The many stars to see before they go to their rest,
Gone is the blazing sun, night is better than the day,
They long to see the golden sun sink in the west.
Some like me, love them both for what they give,
A time to work and a time to rest, a little time to play,
As the world revolves, never stops, and as each day we live,
Enjoy the gifts of day and night, theyll come and go anyway.
