Look at those clouds, theyre as far as the eye can see,
Just a few patches of blue show bright as can be,
Some clouds are white like the pure driven snow,
Others are grey and foreboding, signs of rain do show.
But do you notice how much brighter the fall colours seem?
On dull days, colours are more precious than in the suns beam
The clouds gather closer now, just one large mass of grey,
Now so much darker and more dismal this cool day.
Yet the trees stand glorious in all their fall splendour,
And all the flowers that remain seem more tender.
So when clouds cover our own lives with dullness and fear,
And our sun cannot fight through mists to brighten us here,
We should glow in radiance like the trees in the fall,
So cheer others, show a cheerful smile whater befall.
For most folks can be cheerful on a bright shiny day,
But what happens when clouds of sadness come our way?
Arise and shine even if the light we cannot see,
Be very bright and cheerful just like the fall tree.
