EASTER MOON
The Easter moon rose
like a great golden sphere
Coming to a cloudless sky just
as the sun did disappear,
Rich in colour she quietly came
to bless us with her light,
A vision of beauty as she silently
glowed there extra bright.
Although the sky was not yet dark
it did not dim her beauty,
Even enhanced her radiance,
yet how many stopped to see
Her come robed in ethereal splendour
so pure from the east?
A glorious reminder of our
very special Easter feast.
