More poems about the Moon

        A WINTER’S DAWN
The moon, just losing her fullness
Overcame the rising sun,
Both orbs of beauty did heaven bless,
Another day had just begun.

In loveliness came a new winter’s dawn,
Bright, cold and clear,
In the west the moon did not loose her form
She stayed quite near.

When both sun and moon the sky do grace
And the earth is fair,
Stop and gaze a moment, slow down your pace,
And in this beauty share.

A bright blue sky with a hint of pink and gold,
Both orbs in the sky,
A winter’s dawn awaking, though very cold
Don’t let it pass you by.
