        ARISE AND SHINE
The awakening sun drenched the sky
        with crimson red,
Breathtaking beauty adorned the earth,
        those who were abed
Missed a sight that would be engraved
        on each lowly heart,
For the Master of the universe had sent
        to us, in part,
A glimpse of heaven, as if the pearly gates
        were open wide,
And those who were abroad that morn had
         a peep inside.
Arise and shine early those who are fit and able
        and you may see
The dawn come in splendour, see for a awhile the
         glory of heaven’s beauty.
