RAIN STORMS
Most of the day had been stormy and grey,
Undulating clouds quickly passing our way,
Deformed clouds, distorted shaped clouds,
Almost like a volcanic or a bombs shroud.
The weary sun at last showed her face quite late,
Washed pale as it seems by the skys washing day,
The evening air was too cool for a summers eve,
Fall coming early that we could not really believe.
Night has crept in before her normal starting time,
Lights on when the sun should still brightly shine,
The day has been dull and dismal, clouds glowering
With constant heavy rain on us coldly showering.
But there is tomorrow, so please sun come our way
Dry up all the rain that fell so hard on us this day,
For August should be warm, full rays from a hot sun,
Hazy, lazy days of summer not like fall has just begun.
