CLOUDS
Large cold white snow clouds billow up ahead,
If it warms up, they’ll be thunder clouds instead,
But it is still minus nine so it’s snow that will fall
Giving us another unwelcome white winter pall.
Sun’s trying to make things bright, can’t win through,
It’s going to snow again that’s what it’s going to do.
Soon those big snow clouds will hide our sky of blue,
So once again muffle up nice and warm, so what’s new.
They are still quite high, each of advancing snow cloud,
Maybe they will hurry right by, leaving no white shroud
Of new snow on this our cold frozen spring blighted land,
Blow hard wind so the snow falls on some dry desert sand.
