ARMY CLOUDS
See them gathering all around the high ridge,
An army of clouds, snow defends each bridge
And crevice, even thick undergrowth deep,
Hoping that the rain in there cannot creep.
The clouds break rank and wash the snow away,
Will snow reenforcements come to save the day?
The crevice in the rocks hangs on thro the attack,
Yet snow knows the rain army will soon be back.
The warm sun smiles at the rains great victory,
Where is snow now with all her ice cold glory?
Will she one more attack, muster before she goes
To rest, or just allow summer her beauty to show?
We need more rain armies to fights snows last stand,
Pour with all your power and strength so very grand,
Wash away all the signs of cold winters white scene
And let lakes be freed and green trees soon be seen.
