MESSAGE FROM THE MOON
See how the full moon glides across the darkened sky,
In slow motion it seemed to me, as the wind does sigh
In the trees beside the lake, where the air is almost still
And the nocturnal creatures hunt and roam at their will.
These nights are so peaceful even in some war torn place,
If a frightened child has the strength to look, see her face
Shining bright, that child though in pain may hope again,
And a short tranquil moment of healing comfort gain.
The full moon sailing silently across the heavens above,
Reminds me so very often of Gods pure eternal love,
It reminds that He cares enough to give so much to me,
Many peaceful nights like this, full of sweet tranquility.
Even when the clouds seem to toss the moon too and fro,
Her beauty, now part veiled in clouds, cheers us so,
For bright silver linings trim those clouds of black,
Telling us that God in His mercy, variety does not lack.
Soon shell be waning, slightly smaller she seems tonight,
But still full of beauty, still gloriously shining bright,
Even when she is just a sliver of silver in the dark sky
She is a ray of hope to all who glance as they pass by.
