MY CELESTIAL HOME
If I make it to heaven I want my home to be
A nature wonderland where I can wander free,
Carpets of bluebells and daffer-down dillies,
Primroses, trillium and tall elegant lillies.
There would be rambling roses, hollyhocks tall,
In my home there would be no brick walls at all,
But flowers entangled in fragrant beauty and grace,
So there would be flowers just any way I would face.
For my roof, every lovely leaf that ever gently fell
Would be on sturdy branches, there I would dwell
Listening to the birds sing each sweet melodic song,
Then I would join in with the angels in an anthem strong.
But whatever heavens homes may be like, nature I must see,
For God gave us a taste of heaven in natures great beauty,
If my heavenly home is grand and built of precious things
Id trade it for a cottage of flowers that now bloom is spring.
