        FEEDING THE MISSIONARIES
They bring a special spirit those missionary girls and boys,
Share a meal or two with them and you will gain extra joys
By this simple act of kindness, and it keeps them well fed
So they can serve the Lord more, not cooking meals instead.

We know they have to eat, not just a can of soup warmed up,
Or macaroni and cheese dinners, to some quite a treat to sup,
But really they need good food to keep them all quite strong
So they can teach and preach the true gospel all day long.

The repayment we require is a spiritual thought before they go,
Never to wash the dishes, let them eat and a good home show
To help them through the hard times, when homeliness they need
So share a part of your love as well as those boys or girls feed.

When they enter the Lord’s servants come through your door,
They are sacrificing their time to a God they show they adore,
The least we members can do is to feed them now and again,
This will also save missionary parents heartache and pain.

I love to have the missionaries come for a quick healthy meal,
Have them enter into our home and their great strength feel,
They are working hard so God’s kingdom may swiftly grow,
So feed them often and your love for God in this way show.
