        THE CANDY FOLKS
There is a couple who serve in the temple,
        a delight to know,
Come quite a long distance, alternate weeks,
        service to bestow,
They have that special spirit that radiates
        all around,
They are full of loving kindness and in them
        sweet joy is found.
Not only do they come and serve in their
        own special way
But they bring candies for the workers,
        never miss a day.
If some worker is sick or afflicted and
        weary and worn,
A special stock of candies then for that soul
        are kindly borne.
Little thoughtful actions in love by them
        so freely given,
Will I know ensure me that they are on
        the path to heaven,
Kindness in actions, word and in deed
        our friends come,
This little act of kindness we all know
        many hearts have won.
Thank you candy folks for your unselfish,
        thoughtful ways,
May the Lord continue to bless you through
        all your days.
