CAPTURE THE MOMENT
Capture the moment, save the memory for a sad day,
Some scene savoured, that enlightened in a way
That it will, if stored away, bring hope in sorrow
And could lighten up the darkest tomorrow.
Capture the moment when music touches your heart,
When the melody was so pure it became you in part,
Save that and treasure it then when strife hits you,
That sound of music will help pull you through.
Capture the moment of true happy family togetherness,
Then, when some have to part, they may feel the caress
Of that captured moment, the heart no more have to break
For they stored that magic moment, for their own sake.
The magic moment maybe small, like the song of a bird
Where there’s peace and solitude and that’s all that is heard,
Or the ripple of a small stream dancing for joy in the sun,
Just as the day awakes afresh and new challenges are begun.
