SHINING MOMENTS
Most of our shining moments are not
seen by mortal eyes,
And I feel thats where the true meaning
of service lies,
We should all strive for moments when
action shine bright
Letting forth rays of the true,
sweet gospel light.
No deed too small or too great for
His love to flow
And a little bit of heaven to
someone to show.
A shining moment could be as simple
as a loving smile,
Or wait by a dying friends bed through
that last hard mile.
A loaf of bread left unseen by a lonely
widows humble door.
Cleaning up a mess for mom on
the kitchen floor.
A few shining moments are sometimes
seen by mankind,
Newsworthy items the in the paper
there way find,
Some acts of great courage care told
to family by the fire,
Of these shining moments none of us
listening ever tire,
But it is the small shining moments that
will surely light the way
Along the path to heaven, so keep having
these moments everyday.
