LAUGHTER
We may laugh because we are happy,
We may laugh to keep fear at bay,
We may laugh to gain peace of mind
We may laugh as pleasure we find.
All of us need to laugh at least once day,
It helps send sorrow and sadness away,
If you hear the laughter of children,
Into you heart a smile will enter in.
Find a good friend to laugh with today,
It helps send the down in the dumps away,
Watch a funny movie or read a funny book
If you laugh you may get a funny look.
Yet they may smile, have a laugh as well,
Do them some good, you never can tell
Who needs a dose of laughter, to send away
The heartache of a very unhappy day.
For we know laughter is quite catching,
Soon maybe sad folks may be all laughing,
Laughter is good medicine for all to take
And a much happier, healthier life to make.
