KINDNESS
What makes a person full of kindness?
What great attributes do they possess?
Were they born with a heart of kindness?
It is really very hard for me to guess.

I wanted to be kind in word and in deed,
Look out for others, help someone in need,
I’ll listen to the promptings, then take heed
So that way, my kindness would be freed.

I tried not to do any harsh, unkind action,
Find a way to have a small kind deed done,
Make a new friend, and a confidence won,
And slowly sweet kindness to me did come.

So, kindness is made by always being kind,
By have a warm heart and a trusting mind,
Make kindness your aim and one day find
Kindness wins when leaving cruelty behind.
