LITTLE THINGS MEAN A LOT
You feel so good when you can put a smile on a sad face,
Encourage someone to try hard and so win a great race.
Feel the joy of caring, feel peace when you ease a heavy load,
Feel good when you walk with a stranger along a dreary road.
Little things mean a lot, they are small stepping stones to heaven,
Just some small act of kindness shown, a little help freely given
Will help turn a selfish soul around, think of others for awhile,
Set them on the path of righteousness, keep them free from guile.
I may not be able to move a mountain, but a molehill I can fix,
I cannot change a nation or with important men often mix,
But I can do my small part, always do my very best
To make someone feel joyful, help them find Gods sweet rest.
Anyone can do it, just be a bright and shining ray,
Turn away the dark rain clouds, that come day by day,
Be a beam of moonlight through the darkest night,
For just a smile and cheerful word can bring others light.
