GRACE ENOUGH

4 Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them

Life can be a wonderful thing if you are full of grace,
Grace enough to have that special light in your face,
Grace enough to admit you are wrong, mend your ways,
Grace enough to trust in the Lord throughout all your days.
Grace enough to know you can’t make it on your own,
Grace enough to love God, wanting to kneel at his throne,
Grace enough to want to be humble and learn more everyday,
Grace enough to ask to be forgiven of the wrong you do and say.
Then you will be worthy one day, as a child full of grace
To make it back to heaven and meet your God face to face,
Grace enough to know that heaven should be your aim.
Know in this life where you are going and from whence you came.
Grace enough to face each trial knowing God is by your side,
Grace to trust in the Lord, grace and your religion to never hide.
For grace will give you courage, for you know you are God’s child
And he is there beside you, full of of grace and gentleness so mild.
