STRENGTH ENOUGH
Idea from the third of the nine keys to contentment by Goethe.
3 Strength enough to battle your difficulties and over come them.

May you be blessed with strength enough every day
To carry all the burdens that may be sent your way,
Enough strength not to moan as you carry the load,
Strength enough to smile as you walk along the road.

Strength enough to know difficulties are good for you,
Strength enough to overcome them all your life through,
Become more understanding, show more love and care,
Strength to carry on even when there’s darkness everywhere.

Strength enough to help carry anothers load a little way,
Strength to know when you may need help one day,
Strength to face life’s battles, knowing who’s on your side,
Herculean Strength will be given, if faith you do not hide.

No matter what may come your way, have strength to carry on,
No matter how heavy the load, you say “Thy will be done.”
Strength to not blame others when everything goes wrong,
Strength enough when all seems lost to sing a joyful song.
