WAITING TIME
Things have started to happen,
Another grandchild on the way,
A boy, lets hope hes not long,
For Sharons sake, come today.
A new years baby to welcome
Into the family, what sweet joys,
Making the score even again
With fours girls and four boys.
We are all thinking of Sharon,
Saying many an earnest prayer,
Hoping that little Keagan comes
Soon, more of our love to share.
Everyone is waiting so patiently
For that very important phone call,
To say hes arrived safe and sound,
A sigh of great relief given by us all.
He will be handsome, just like dad,
The quiet one peacefully sleeping,
All impatiently waiting for your turn
The new baby to be softly holding.
Maybe before the night is done
Another poem I will have to write,
Telling what he truly looks like,
His weight and colour of eyes so bright.
So just a little poem to help me wait
For another grandchild to show his face,
Just come from heavens glory to a home
Of love, bringing with him Gods sweet grace.
