SWEET LITTLE GRANNY
Based on true story
Granny had done her shopping, hurrying to be home,
She was getting rather tired, no longer wanted to roam,
Oh, good, there was her car, but what did her eyes see!
Four men climbing in her car as cheeky as could be.
There was no hesitation, she was full of fearless grit,
There was no way that those men would in her car sit,
She dropped all her shopping and took out a handgun,
“Get out of there,” she yelled, all four just up and ran
From the fierce old lady, it made them all quite pale,
But after it was all over then granny began to quail,
She was a little frightened when the key did not fit,
But her hands were shaking, she would just sit
And then she would try to start it once again,
Then she looked a little more closely, oh, the pain!
There, just one row over stood her car all safe and sound,
She felt that she should crawl under a stone on the ground.
She drove along to the police station her tale of woe to tell,
And there were the four men she knew only too well,
The police, they could not stop laughing at the incident,
No charges were ever laid so off to prison she never went.
But when the police need cheering on a really bad day,
They tell the tale of the granny who scared four big men away.
