        UNDER THE WEATHER
He looks like death warmed over, has a yucky cold,
He asked me to choose a tie, I thought one of a bold,
Bright colour could cure him, would it do the trick?
All the smiles for his tie, stop him from feeling sick.

I chose one of his red ones, I’d say it almost glows,
A nice white shirt as background it’s true colour shows,
I hope the tie helps drive that nasty cold right away,
Or at least help him know he’ll live through the day.

It seems all in the home just now are under the weather,
Is it part of winter blahs, all want to smell the heather,
Feel a warm breeze blow across that cold blue lake,
And wait with some impatience for spring to awake.

Mind you, although a winter cold is always quite bad,
You can muffle up warm sit by a fire to make you glad,
But a cold in the heat of the summer is a real sore pain,
When it’s hot and hard to breath you long for winter again.

A hot drink of lemon and honey, wear a bright tie or dress,
Does help the cold improve and the aches seem much less,
We need to go out and be cheerful, serve others if you can
It’s better than being miserable, so make it part of your plan.
