        MAYOR HAZEL McCALLION
RECIPIENT OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
CANADIAN FAMILY VALUES AWARD
A woman of honour, a woman of sweet grace,
A woman that carried a loving smile on her face,
A woman of faith and a woman who really cares,
A woman whose peoples problems willingly shares.

Eight terms in office, we hope it will now be nine,
As long as she can keep going our city will be fine,
Leader of this great city that is a precious gem indeed,
It cares for the hungry and others who are in need.

Her door is often open so anyone who wishes may call,
Lots of commendations hang upon her office wall,
A believer in families, of honesty and righteousness,
Her children and grandchild her life sweetly bless.

A hard worker, never seems to rest, young at heart,
She shows the young ones up as she does her part,
It hard to think she is an octogenarian as you see
Her heavy work load, she is as busy as she can be.

Thank you mayor Hazel, for your love and zeal,
You know about living, will always want to heal
A broken bridge, a hurting heart, offer happiness,
I love living here, for this city you do indeed bless.
