Sometimes life throws many curve balls, hard to hit,
But people like the Haley’s don’t ever give up or quit,
They help others, overcome difficulties that come their way,
Honourable people that always know how to really pray.
Honoured and respected world wide, friends to all they meet,
Served his country in the war years ago many obstacles did greet,
But battled for equality, he fought for this with sweet love,
I know these two people are loved by our God above.
Ambassadors and leaders of great courage and renown,
One day in heaven they will wear the victors crown,
Everyone loves them, they are His children of light,
Filling the world with goodness courage and delight.
