FOR THOSE IN PERIL
For those who suffer, feel in peril everyday,
Find the path rugged and very steep the way,
Words of encouragement your load to lighten,
A little ray of sunshine your way to brighten.
Find a simple blessing that will come your way,
Hang onto it through your most perilous day,
Place it with gratitude in Gods hands with love
And thank Him for it as you pray to Him above.
Count the stars that shine on a crystal clear night
Watch the moon sail across the sky shining bright,
Then realize that He who made these, calls thee child,
Not let you suffer too long, enough to make you mild.
However rough the road we tread, He has gone before,
Knows our every suffering, sheds tears for us galore,
We can feel His arms encompass us, feel His care,
Know however sad we feel, He has also been there.
There is no pain He does not know, so Him always trust,
To win through every painful trial, His help is a must.
Look up through tear stained eyes, feel His love divine,
Hold out your hand and find His love that is truly sublime.
There is no storm, no peril that can destroy Gods love
Hang onto the gospels life belt until you reach above,
A loving arm, a little poem, a note kindly sent to you
May be your lifeline that will see you safely through.
