OUR PATH
We know that God loves us, He has
a wonderful plan,
How does He show His love? Make life
easy as He can?
No, the path must have it’s stumbling blocks
among each stepping stone,
So we grow strong enough to try and gain
A heavenly throne.
Trials that will make us stop and think
which way to go,
Trials to help us realize just how much
we need the Saviour so,
Trials to build a person that has a kind
understanding heart,
Trials to build a character that is willing to
do their small part
No matter whether the road is very
rough or smooth,
They will press ever onward and so
their worth to prove.
If our lives were full of sunshine and
sweet gentle rain,
The pathway always smooth, all pretty
and free from pain,
How could we grow? Show what we
are really made of,
If we did not have trials from our
loving God above.
