More poems about Weather

CHANGE IN THE WEATHER
We can see the rain driving across the valley
a prelude to a storm
We thought that the air was muggy just
a little too warm,
For the pleasant day that the first day
of summer should bring.
We heard the thunder grumble a few
minutes ago
But no signs of a storm right then
did to us show
But now the scene has changed blue skies
all clouded ‘ore
It sounds as though we will have a big summer
storm once more.
Will it be short? Will it very quicky pass us
close by,
Listen! Now the rain has reached us
and the sky
Is completly covered by a angry dull
gray ghost
Only the wind and the rain share the world
as lonely host..
