More poems about His Birth

CELEBRATE
As we celebrate this wonderful holy season,
Let us again remember the celebratory reason
And keep the Saviour in each heart and thought,
Not just on the gifts that are given and bought.

A baby in a manger, heaven angels proclaim.
The Saviour who is Christ the Lord by name,
Fear and joy filled each heart on that night,
For into the world came sweet purity and light.

Weeks before the special day, give thought to Him,
Do not let the glitter in life make Him seem all dim.
Let the lights shine for him with a star on the tree
Bring special holy memories that will set you free.

Good gifts for loved ones all around is truly fine,
But never forget His eternal sacrifice so divine,
The birth of the saviour in the stable cold and bare
Is the real reason for the busy season out there.
