SUMMER HAS COME
Summer has come suddenly this year,
Her purpose for this is not too clear,
A weekend ago we had cold snow
Now high temperatures do show.
There seemed to be no in between,
No gentle temperate degrees seen,
From zero to thirty three Celsius,
No wonder at all that we make a fuss.
But it is good to feel the very warm sun
Knowing that summer, early, has begun
Seeing the beauty of the vivid bright green
Everywhere among other colours to be seen.
Welcome warm stranger to this northern clime,
Please stay with us now for quite a long time,
The only drawback are all the bugs that bite,
But its better than winter cold at its height.
