VICTORIA WEEKEND SNOW
I feel like crying or at least to kick up a stink
At conditions this morning what do they think
In the weather man’s office sending us snow
On Victoria weekend, that’s a swear word you know.

I see the pretty lilac blossoms draped in white
With the deep purple colour looking so bright,
But not what you want on a holiday weekend,
It’s enough to send us completely round the bend.

We are off to church now with winter woollies on
When I really wanted a pretty flowered dress to don,
The flakes are getting bigger and the sky is grey,
What outside activities can be done on this type of day?

I am glad I don’t have a cottage and come to open up,
Clean and decorate and BBQ a big juicy steak to sup,
I think I would go back to the city and come another day,
So please fast falling snow pleas go far away to play.
