HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
I love you mom you are both a parent and friend,
Someone to rely on, and on whom many depend,
Your shining blue eyes can still brighten my day
Although we are apart and you are miles away.

I close my eyes I see your dark hair, your smile,
And when things are hard I can go on for awhile,
Your spiritual rays still lead me firmly along,
And I hear your great voice singing a song.

Memories of the family with you being the heart,
Always dear mom doing your great important part
As you serve so well in all that you are asked to do,
An example for all us five children to follow through.

I know that if you applied, you’d still be Rodeo Queen,
To me one of the prettiest women to ever be seen,
I picture you working in the library or cooking a meal,
And when I feel sad each thought helps me to heal.

So a very happy Mothers Day and I’ll never forget
The way that you live the example you always set,
Thank you for giving me my life through my birth,
Remember dear mom you are a treasure of great worth.
