WRITING WHILE ASLEEP
I really wish that I could write while I’m fast asleep,
That into my resting hands paper and pen would creep,
Or I go to the computer then turn it on so I can write
All the wonderful thoughts that come to my mind at night.
There are part stories that I think of and make me smile,
And poems that would help many go along that extra mile,
I’d write songs and the melody to being tears to many eyes,
Maybe Nobel worthy and so win that wonderful prize.
How many more poems would come my way? Lots more?
Treasures hidden deep inside closed off by night’s dark door,
I’ll place a pad and pen by my bed and leave on the light,
So if I get ideas whilst asleep everything will be alright.
