RACING TO THE FRONT
We noticed in the vivid bright blue sky,
Way up, a flock of birds flying high,
Too far away to tell what species were there,
Just fast moving dots as we did stare.
Theyd lost their Vee for all we could see
Just black dots of chaos that should never be.
But gazing hard we saw a bird racing to the front,
Now that ones turn to take the forceful brunt.
As they flew on now the Vee was formed again,
No birds dropped out just a change that was plain.
It is good to look and see nature work at its best
Birds taking the heavy load in turns so others rest,
Yet still fly on to the places of their dreams
A lesson we humans should learn to me it seems.
