More poems about Temptation.

THE TEMPTER
The Tempter may raise it’s head, ugly,
easy to recognize,
Yet other times the Tempter shows itself as
beauty, a great prize.
Not always easy to see as we journey
along life’s way,
That’s why it always makes sense to
stop and pray.
The Holy Ghost won’t let us down, He
is there for me and you,
And if we pray and stay firm we will know
what to say and do.
There will be no doubt, we will know what
is right and wrong,
The Tempter will be sent away with some
sweet hymn or song.
Do not let the Tempter come and fool you
to go far astray,
For we have the whole truth so in the bounds
of honour we should stay,
The Tempter loses all it’s power when we
choose the right,
And we can always show the Tempter the
perfect light.
Temptation will fall and crumble like the great
walls of Jericho,
And we will then march firmly forward as
heavenward we go.
