More poems about Spring.

         DAY DAWNED DELIGHTFULLY
The day dawned delightfully, with warmth in the air,
The wind now just a zephyr breath warm and fair,
Life feels really worth living, being glad to be alive,
For through the blasts of winter nature did survive.

The buds seem to be singing an awakening melody,
And the birds reply as they fly from tree to tree,
Walkers are no longer muffled up to keep warm,
Now the blowing breeze will do them no harm.

The greening grass is growing soon to be mowed,
No evidence at all that it ever very heavily snowed,
The lake now dances in the sun to springtime’s tune,
I know the baby birds will be chirruping quite soon.

Yes, this day dawned delightfully inviting all to awake
And gaze at the beauty that spring’s nature does make,
Do not waste a moment, come see things grow all around,
See the hand of God in every, movement growth or sound.
